Okay, so every time I go to Staples, Target, or even Walmart I end up spending WAY too much on packing supplies. But it’s hard to buy online because you never know what quality you’re going to get. I’m so glad I took the chance on these envelopes! I mail out samples of beauty products and little thank you gifts for my home-based business, and these envelopes are perfect.
If I accidentally forget what’s in there and need to re-check, I can open the adhesive and then stick the envelope closed again with packing tape without it looking like the envelope has been completely destroyed.
Most of all, I’ve cut the cost for my shipping materials by SO much! I was paying 6.99 for 5 envelopes of similar sizes locally, and here I get 25. Happy day!

I just got them and noticed right away they seem small. I had been using 6 x 9 inch mailers but I typically dont need packages that big- the length is mostly what I cared about- so I figured the 4 x 8 should’ve worked but it was too small. I measured it… not sure how you’re supposed to measure these things because if I include the folding flap (which doesnt make sense to me so I didnt in my photo) but for argument sake, if you include it in the measurement, it is over 8″… so that must not be how they measure it… ok so, then I measured right to where any normal person would fold the flap over and that it only 7″.
As shown in my photo you could arguably fold it at 7.5″ inches but unless shipping something relatively flat, I’m afraid it wouldnt hold up during shipping and would need to tape it to be sure.
So basically these mailers are truly more of 4 x 7 in size. They will work for some of my smaller items but not for the items I intended on shipping in these. I havent sent anything with them just yet so I cannot review based on performance but felt like the size difference was worth noting for other customers.
Ps. I measured my store bought 6 x 9 mailers… they measure 6 x 9 properly.

Tight fit inside. In relation to size, it could prob fit up to 3 bars of soap and still be able to close. Wont be able to stuff them because then the closing flap wouldn’t close. Color is not as metallic as I had expected.

I read a boat load of the reviews and should have listened! These were the biggest disappointment & a waste of time & money. I have no one to blame but myself. These are extremely thin, the bubble wrap is very, very thin. The thickness of the whole bubble envelope is very thin. If you’re sending flat, single pieces of gum, they might make it. The day after I received them I received an email from the seller. They asked if I would let them know what I thought of the bubble envelopes. I had not written this review yet, so I let them know what I thought and I asked them if I could please return them. I have not heard from them again. So now I’m writing this review. Please do not think I am upset with the company and decided to write a negative review. I am disappointed in the company not responding back to me, but I have no one to blame but myself. I read most of the reviews and so many were negative and complained about the exact same issue I am complaining about here. Do not buy these bubble envelopes unless you are looking for extremely, extremely thin bubble envelopes. If you are looking for normal bubble envelopes, the kind you get at your office stationary store, these are not them!

There were more in the package than I expected They work perfectly for shipping smaller items that need to be handled with care. The bubble wrap adds the protection I need to make sure my packages will arrive intact. I wish that the address areas were white or at least a little more light, but for the price I am not too concerned, I’ll just print out some labels. I like the peel off sticker on the adhesion. So much more easier than having to lick the back of the envelope.

Have been selling things from my home and these were perfect for smaller items! The flap is very tacky, no need to add reinforcement tape and the mailers are also privacy mailers meaning you cannot see the contents inside and they were made of a thick material so no tearing!
